Employment Assistance

There are a wide variety of programs that offer assistance to separating, recently separated and older veterans. These can range from job referrals and help with converting military experience into terms civilians understand to complete training and rehabilitation programs for veterans who have employment barriers. However, the two true facts are that job hunting is a full time job until you are employed, and it's much easier to find the job you really want if you are already employed. So whether you are separating from the service or have been out for years, follow the dictum, "get a job then get a career."
